The Spectacular Southwest 2026

Any day is a great day in Zion National Park! Although there were no waterfalls, the blue skies, warm temps, and river walks were pretty fantastic!

We'll rarely take the fastest route when there's spectacular scenery to be seen. And the wild and winding roads just add to the experience!

On past trips, Flagstaff was a hub to see its nearby wonders of nature. This trip we stayed close, with some Route 66 and a few historic sites.

While in Phoenix, we created another short road trip to visit with friends and explore more history and beauty farther south and east.

Arizona holds a special place in my heart and I love that we keep going back, but we always seem to find something new to see!

We visited the Utah parks in early March last time, with terrible weather. We're hoping another month will warm up those gorgeous red rocks!
